OneStepCloser is a boutique language and management services agency run by Nina and Paul Blaettler from central Switzerland with clients all over the globe. We offer exclusive services in languages, to include English, German, French, Italian and Spanish and management and business services for small businesses and sole proprietors. We take particular pride in offering you a personal and highly individual service, so that you, your clients, your business, your study programme or your own personal life can benefit to the maximum.

We like to give our clients the feeling that whatever they hand over to us to take care of for them, is delivered back to them error free and with no need to be cross-checked. Security & Confidentiality
We treat all the information we receive from our clients with the utmost confidentiality. NDAs can be provided upon request. As business owners ourselves, not to mention Paul’s background in banking, it goes without saying that security of data as well as confidentiality of documentation and information are of utmost significance to us as well as our clients. All documents are saved on a local hard drive, not the cloud, which is a further aspect of the security we can offer.
Experience
Nina has been in language teaching for over thirty years, and as the owner and director of The Language Professionals, has a solid management and leadership background. Paul was in banking in Zurich for over twenty years, and as sales and finance director of The Language Professionals for ten years, has a strong background in business and corporate needs. Together, they strive for perfection in business and delivering to their clients the best possible service with the highest possible standards.

Team
Nina and Paul are a husband and wife team who enjoy going the extra mile for their clients. Together they grew their previous business The Language Professionals GmbH to one of the largest privately owned language schools in central Switzerland, with a team of over forty five and well over a few thousand students, culminating in its successful sale to their biggest competitor.
Together they have been in business for over twenty-five years and have many years of experience and expertise. They complement each other with their strengths in different fields and together take great pride in creating and fostering long-term relationships with their clients, which is a testament to their quality, reliability and most of all trust.
Nina Blaettler
I am from South Africa originally, speak English as a mother tongue, and am fluent in two other languages. Professionally, I am a passionate teacher and trainer; I thrive on setting up and growing businesses; and greatly value and appreciate by my clients. Privately, I love spending time with my family and friends, I am an avid reader, and I love the outdoors.
